It is raining! It will rain tomorrow. It will rain Sunday! Do I really want to sleep in the rain, eat in the rain, sing in the rain???? Having second thoughts but won't decide until tomorrow. I think I can. I think I can.

Yes, SINSULL, you *do* want to go in the rain. It will be well worth it & we can get some shelter at the Folk Legacy booth. Do come; you'll regret it if you don't. Bring extra socks & shoes, raincoat, & umbrella. You'll be fine! :)

The students left at 11 am, but I guess I need to stay till 2:30 pm. Bummer!

Woke up at 4AM to crashing thunder and lightening. Said "Screw it" and went back to sleep. Maybe, I'll drive up on Sunday AM. Maybe not. Kitten is thinking about having her letter on my bed. Her nesting boxes don't suit her. SIGH. I just had to toss the couch as a result of feline activities. SINS.

Hopefully, Sins, your kitten is having a "litter" not a "letter" but then maybe she's literate like some of the other Mudcat cats. Sorry to hear that Old Songs didn't work out for you. It really is a much nicer experience when it's not an ordeal.

Thanks Charley. I would be better off if she were having a letter. I took in a little bitty stray who was being abused by some kids on the street. A neighbor rescued her but couldn't keep her because she raises birds and Alice got into the babies and scared them half to death. Even my vet didn't realize she was pregnant. Poor thing is so tiny except for her middle. She's not full grown yet herself. Do I sound like a nervous Nellie? Cats have litters on the street all the time without a problem - my current mantra.
Marymac,my nephew is coming tomorrow to finish moving out. When he heard was home after all, he made plans. Sorry. But I will be at the Getaway.

Sinsull, NEXT time we will have to plan ahead! I'm beginning to think I'm ready to give up camping! And it really does help motivate me if I plan to give someone a ride, or go with them. I think one difficult thing for me is the transition--just getting myself packed up, OUT of my apartment, and on the road! I did get my tent and sleeping bag into my car, and now I think I'll leave 'em there! So now I'm thinking about a longer trip later this summer, first to Falcon Ridge, in the Berkshires, and then to Champlain Valley, in Burlington, with visiting friends and mudcatters in between. Just leave home once, then keep on going!

Marymac
