UK - come to Shropshire! Big welcome, beautiful countryside, hills, rivers, woods, moorland, Jon's North Wales just up the road.

Continental Europe - Greece - Paxos, Samos, Amorgos, Astipalia, The Pelion.

I'm going to Llandudno next week. It's a bit 'seasidey' but it has my favourite hotel this side of the Ionian - The Empire. R&R in extremis!

For me it has to be Pentewan and Mevagissey in Cornwall. The boats, the blue sea, the long beach, the cliff walks in spring with Red Campion and Blue Bells, the cry of the seagulls nesting in the cliffs.Cornish pasties and Kelly's ice cream . Oh dear, now I'm feeling Cornwall sick.
