I run SS's on a couple of other MBs, (that where I got the idea to originally suggest Mudcat run one...) and I ALWAYS take part... I might know who's got me, but I have no idea WHAT they're gonna get me... that's more than enough fun!

I'll try to keep this thread bobbing near the top until the end of September. After that you get about a month to find a present before we start running out of time for international mailings.

If anyone would like to purchase some special, seasonal greetings cards (not necessarily Christmas cards), I've got some handmade and cross stitched cards for sale at the princely sum of £1.25 each. They cost me £1.00 for materials to make and if I sell any via Mudcat, the remaining 25p goes to Mudcat. If I sell them outside of Mudcat, the 25p goes to the British Heart Foundation.

Of course, I'm not organised enough to have pictures available, but if I ever get the hang of this HMTL thing, I will make a webpage and add a link to this thread! (If anyone wants to come and set me up with one, I'd be very happy to provide beer!)

Sue, give Liz the durable address of someone who will get the package to you! Even here in the U.S., the post office forwards packages. But in your list of hints, better make it clear that the gift needs to be non-breakable. :) You can trust them to get the box to you, but heaven only knows what kind of shape it will be in!

Limpit is 8 and takes a great interest in a lot of the threads here.... usually the ones with 'fart', 'burp' or 'cats' in the titles.

She's been to many a Mudcat gathering and shared the house with 'foreign' 'catters, so I think she ought to be included. Besides, it might give her an interest outside of pink fairies and Neopets Do not click here if you value your sanity and encourage her to think of someone else.

Anyone else got children they want to include?

My kids are into Neopets, have been for a while. We have firewall issues when it comes to sending messages and saving "points." The big one around here lately is Ragnarok (it comes from the ROK--Republic of Korea, so I keep a close eye on it). A nice distraction from these online games is a good idea!
