Subject: RE: From Max: Mudcat Back From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 27 Dec 04 - 09:39 AM If Max had screwed up his family's Christmas it would have made most Mudcatters feel all mean and exploitative, and that would have messed up our Christmas. Part of the Mudcat magic, I think, is tied up with the feeling that it should never be taken for granted. Just in case - Happy New Year everyone. |

Subject: RE: From Max: Mudcat Back From: Midchuck Date: 27 Dec 04 - 09:42 AM We usually have a little down time at Christmas, and a little at deer hunting season. I suspect few of us would begrudge Max having a life of his own at those two times of year. P. |

Subject: RE: From Max: Mudcat Back From: wysiwyg Date: 27 Dec 04 - 09:45 AM To the newer folks-- It's a good idea to look here and bookmark it: http://help.mudcat.org/ When Mudcat is down, there are usually posts there explaining it. If even the Help forum is down, it's all REALLY broken. The Help forum and the main forum live on different server-computers, so if the main forum server is having trouble, Help usually is up and running. ~Susan |

Subject: RE: From Max: Mudcat Back From: bbc Date: 27 Dec 04 - 09:51 AM Ah, it's nice to be home. We don't have much family, so I missed Mudcat. When it was down, I started getting re-addicted to Neopets. Yikes! Thanks for all you do, Max. Merry Christmas & the best of 2005 to you & yours. Barbara |

Subject: RE: From Max: Mudcat Back From: Tinker Date: 27 Dec 04 - 09:51 AM Gee Max and today is the day I'm supposed to spend cleaning before my sister in law comes to visit. I guess I'm going to have to use old fashioned will power to get things ready instead of reading Mudcat all day....well, maybe a few well placed breaks will help the day seem less painful.... blessings and light tink |

Subject: RE: From Max: Mudcat Back From: Big Mick Date: 28 Dec 04 - 08:02 AM Selfish little twit!! You decide it's more important to spend time with family and celebrate a holiday properly??????? So you doom me to overeating, spoiling my grandkids, enjoying my parents, playing Christmas songs for the kids, and chasing Mama around the house and yelling "HOHOHOHOHOHOHO.....time for YOUR gift, lady". And to think I could have spent it in front of a monitor instead. But you, you self centered wanker, you think that you can just take time off. I am going to dock your pay!!! Love, Mick |
