Cool beans, ya'll... I got Rap's list - ahhhhh, that didn't come out right - and I'll address them boxes later today so if the CDs get here today I can get 'um boxed to go into the mail tomorrow... The boxes are gonna come with packing tape to keep 'um shut so for all of youz who has ordered one (or more) be prepared to have sharp object to get into the box... If you are on the "NSOL" (No Sharp Objects List) then yer going to have to make some arrangements with someone who didn't make the list...

I sure hope it won't be much longer. Chongo has been under great stress with all the waiting. He went ape this afternoon and fired off a full magazine into the derelict pickup truck that's parked at the back of the lot here. It looks like a giant piece of Swiss cheese now. It used to be worth almost nothing. Now it's worth even less.

I been playin' this one so much that the neighbours are threatenin' reprisals. They don't scare me. Bobertz is one hell of a blues man. I gotta get him up to the Windy City to do some house concerts. Us American primates LOVE the blues! Things can get pretty damn lively at a blues show with an audience of several hundred ravin' apes, baboons, and monkeys, lemme tell ya! Well, strange that you asked, leenia...

Seems that there was a "failure to communicate" between me and the Charlotte Blues Society and some paper work didn't get to the Blues Society and and the Blues Society don't forgive that kinda stuff but...

...here's the good, well not good, but kinda good part... I been doing construction all winter and when I started I knew my left thumb was wored out but over the winter what was left of any cartledge in the base of it got used up and by the end of January I could only play about 5 minutes so if I had booked rooms and airfare I would have lost that money...

Doc took one look at the xrays last week and said that giving me a Corizone shot wouldn't do a thing and on the 14th he's gonna operate on it... Don't look up "thumb base arthritis surgery" unless you want to be completely grossed out...
