        Aaron was declared Instrumentalist of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards in 2005 and performs with the top Scottish band Old Blind Dogs. He lives in Edinburgh & tours extensively in the UK & North America, Europe & Australia.
        The workshop will look at all the skills required to play & create interesting & original accompaniment parts on bouzouki & dadgad guitar. Chord charts will be handed out on the day.

Provisional Timetable

11.00 Chord repertoires, chord substitution & linking the chords; a look at improving your arsenal of chords, alternative chord         structures & opening up the neck of the instrument.
12.30         Lunch
13.30        Right-hand technique & building a complete part: jig rhythm, 'damping' & a look at constructing a backing part                         through the course of a set of tunes.
15.15        Tea/coffee break
15.30        Song accompaniment & arrangement.
16.45        Finish
