......

Mad Hatter: A very merry unbirthday...

March Hare: A very merry unbirthday...

Mad Hatter & March Hare: A very merry unbirthday to us! ...

March Hare: A very merry unbirthday to me.

Mad Hatter: To who?

March Hare: To me.

Mad Hatter: Oh you!

March Hare: A very merry unbirthday to you.

Mad Hatter: Who, me?

March Hare: Yes, you.

Mad Hatter: Oh me!

March Hare: Let's all congratulate us with another cup of tea, a very merry unbirthday to you!

March Hare & Mad Hatter: No room, no room, no room, no room, no room, no room, no room!

Alice: But I thought there was plenty of room!

March Hare: Ah, but it's very rude to sit down without being invited!

Mad Hatter: I say it's rude. It's very very rude, indeed! Hah!

Doormouse: Very very very rude, indeed...

Alice: Oh, I'm very sorry, but I did enjoy your singing and I wondered if you could tell me...

March Hare: You enjoyed our singing?

Mad Hatter: Oh, what a delightful child! Hah! I'm so excited, we never get compliments! You must have a cup of tea!

March Hare: Ah, yes indeed! The tea, you must have a cup of tea!

Alice: That would be very nice. I'm sorry I interrupted your birthdayparty... uh, thank you.

March Hare: Birthday? Hahaha! My dear child, this is not a birthdayparty!

Mad Hatter: Of course not! Hehehe! This is an unbirthdayparty!

Alice: Unbirthday? Why, I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand.

March Hare: It's very simple. Now, thirty days have sept- no, when... an unbirthday, if you have a birthday then you... haha... she doesn't know what an unbirthday is!

Mad Hatter: How silly! Ha HA Ha Ha! Ah-hum... I shall ellusinate! Now statistics prove, prove that you've one birthday.

March Hare: Imagine, just one birthday every year.

Mad Hatter: Ahhh, but there are 364 unbirthdays!

March Hare: Precisely why we're gathered here to cheer!

Alice: Why, then today is my unbirthday too!

March Hare: It is?

Mad Hatter: What a small world this is.

March Hare: In that case... a very merry unbirthday.

Alice: To me?

Mad Hatter: To you!

March Hare: A very merry unbirthday.

Alice: For me?

Mad Hatter: For you! Now blow the candle out, my dear and make your wish come true! He he he!

March Hare & Mad hatter: A very merry unbirthday to you!

Doormouse: Twinkle, twinkle, little bat, how I wonder what you're at! Up above the world you fly, like a tea-tray in the sky!

Alice: Oh, that was lovely!

Mad Hatter: And uh, and now my dear, hehe, uh... you were saying that you would like to sit uh...? You were sitting some information some kind... hehe!

Wordsmith, I think it was Alice in Wonderland. We have an Unbirthday Party every year at my in-laws because with three busy households we can never co-ordinate individual birthdays.

Didn't mean to miss your birthday...been having connection problems...but a belated Happy Bday to you...for some reason as I was typing, this tune came in my head. It went: A very Happy Unbirthday to you, to you, to you...I'd swear it was from a Popeye cartoon...well, that dates me, doesn't it? I know you had a good one, anyway!

Geez, doing this MIA bit causes me to miss some very important things.........such as my Tami's birthday. I like John and everything, but the drive is pretty long....but if I had known that they were also celebrating Tami's birthday, I would have grabbed my new pup, MaryLou and Ciara and headed north.

Happy birthday, my friend.

Mick

I thought the crocheted toilet paper holder facsimile of Bandit was the piece de resistance.....once I worked out who it was!! At the next gathering, if not quite so crowded, perhaps we can bring the dogs -- Asha has been very clear to me that she is pretty pissed off not having met Bandit to date. If it wasn't Asha, the mellow wunderkind, one might describe her as being bratty.

Jacqui and Mary are responsible for the cake. It was quite alright, as long as you closed your eyes while eating.

I was also gifted with a singing and dancing easter bunny, a lovely teapot, cup and saucer and a swiffer broom from SINSULL, a photo album full of photos of Clancy and Bandit and a crocheted facsimile of Bandit toilet-paper holder from jacqui, Peter and Joanne gave me a really cool Adventure long-sleeved t-shirt, Linn and Tom gave me an assortment of frogs and a cloud ID book, and Jeri made me two beautiful necklaces. Woohoo! What a party!

Sigh. Last year it was a Billy Bass that wouldn't stop unless you took the batteries out and whacked it on the floor a couple of times until it stopped flopping around. This year a rabbit that sings and plays banjo. I wonder what its malfunction is?

Ah Spaw. If only you played the banjo! And what a wonderful gift I have found for our Tami who is free to forward it to you if she chooses. What are the odds of finding an Easter Bunny who plays the banjo and sings "Cotton Eyed Joe"?
And what a wonderful surprise Jacqui has planned - two really.
You will be sorry you missed this one. Any chance of a last minute appearance?

I've never ax-murdered anyone. Thought about taking a chainsaw to someone once or twice, but never followed through. Too messy and I'd be the one who'd have to clean up. As for feeding me after midnight...mwahahahahahaha!

She's got a portrait that she's hiding in the attic
That shows the aging done by her soul
So while her face stays the same, and this young age she'll remain
In that painting she looks ten years old

And here's to the pure of heart
There's not enough praise for her by half
She's a treasure, she's a treat, she's generous and sweet
But you wouldn't know it if you'd ever heard her laugh...
