Subject: BS: Stunning Bill Mahre news From: Donuel Date: 14 Apr 07 - 03:59 AM We all knew that the 33 year old woman with no experience as a prosecutor took the 5th and then quit the justice department. Maybe you knew she was a Bush appointee. but maybe we didn't know why. IT turns out that she and 150 other people in the Bush administration are recent graduates of Messiah U. Regents college which is ranked a 4th tier school (the lowest) and that the law degrees by the rest have graduated from Pat Robertson's Law School. No wonder Harriet Myers looked like Supreme COurt material next to these new bible kids. Bill Mahre prefaced this news story by saying Demmocrats have taken back the liberal word and now need to take back the word elite. You would want an elite surgeon. You enjoy elite atheletes like Tiger Woods but in right wing politics "elite" was made to sound like a bad thing evertime Rush mentions it 8 times a minute. The Bush WHite house has been careful to never hire anyone who could be considered elite. The W White House does however require that all US attorneys take a special oath of secrecy and demand membership in a GWH Bush legal association that smacks of the fascist eleiteism of his new world order credo. NO wonder this young woman took the 5th got scared and quit. She is afraid of the mob. by the way, she did hire a real attorney and not one of those Pat Robertson lawyers. |

Subject: RE: BS: Stunning Bill Mahre news From: Tweed Date: 14 Apr 07 - 08:15 AM Oddly enough, that's exactly the headline I found while googling to see who she is: "Goodling, 33, is a 1995 graduate Messiah College in Grantham, Pa., an institution that describes itself as "committed to an embracing evangelical spirit." She received her law degree at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va. Regent, founded by Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson, says its mission is "to produce Christian leaders who will make a difference, who will change the world." E-mails show that Goodling was involved in planning the dismissals and in later efforts to limit the negative reaction. As the Justice Department's liaison to the White House, she could shed light on the extent of White House involvement in the dismissals." From the McClatchy Washington Bureau |

Subject: RE: BS: Stunning Bill Mahre news From: Rapparee Date: 14 Apr 07 - 08:49 AM Is this law school ABA accredited? What about the college -- it is accredited by the appropriate agencies? Did these young folks pass a State Bar Exam somewhere? Where are they licensed to practice? |

Subject: RE: BS: Stunning Bill Mahre news From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 14 Apr 07 - 09:05 AM I heard about this on NPR a week or so ago. Yes. it's a accredited law school. There are a number of Regent University grads in the Bush administration's cadre' of lawyer types. Scary, ain't it? |

Subject: RE: BS: Stunning Bill Mahre news From: Donuel Date: 14 Apr 07 - 11:18 AM I knew that a huge crew of young idiots were amking up incredibly stupid make work projects to prove immpossibe things but I did not know they all came from Pat Robertson University. Many of these young bible lawyers are in charge of the *Office of Management and budget * and have doing creative accounting progects for our country for 6 years now. The damage they have done is compounded by what we could have been doing in the meantime instead of following the 15 year think tank dictates of Pat Robertson College. They have been the foundation for the effieciency of our military and our health department , global warming research, scientific research in general and the evils of evolution. Now I know how this de evolution works...Pat Robertson. what a scientific genius he is. |

Subject: RE: BS: Stunning Bill Mahre news From: Donuel Date: 14 Apr 07 - 11:40 AM Like the new BMW commercial - this idiot goverment administration was built from the botom, up. At its foundation is Pat Robertson. I was not so naive as to think that this administration would not pass out jobs to its base, like FEMA and the DOD demonstrates. BUT Now I know why some fo these FOX type people actually believe what they have been doing was a good thing. They have been told that this current rise to faxcism is God's WIll. ...its more like God's last Will and Testament. |

That is GHWB--George Herbert Walker Bush--not GWHB. I'm not surprised by this at all. SRS |

Subject: RE: BS: Stunning Bill Mahre news From: Bobert Date: 15 Apr 07 - 10:51 AM The job qualifications for most high level jobs in the Bush administartion are as follows: * Pro-Life * Anti-abortion * Christian Right credentials * Blind loyalty to Bush Yup... If that's you then, boy, have you got it made... You can run entire department or agencies... You can be part of the president'as cabinet... You can rebuild Iraq'a stock market... Heck, you can even become Attorney General... Hmmmmmm??? (Do you think that these hiring practices have let to so many of Bush's failures, Bobert???) Nah, probably a mere coincident... B;] p.s. The War Czar job is still open so maybe someone like Dickey can still get that Bush Administration "entry level" job they have been looking for??? Hey, ya gotta start somewhere... |
