Subject: BS: Obit-Dick Vosburgh From: Flash Company Date: 23 Apr 07 - 09:59 AM Comedy writer with a long association with Frank Muir, The Two Ronnies and the Pythons. Also responsible for at least one show which transferred to Broadway. Died aged 77. Although capable of writing the kind of bawdy humour used in the 'Carry On' films and by Frankie Howerd, he was a very witty man, described by a fellow writer as 'Rather like Dorothy Parker with a beard'. Survived by his wife Beryl, to whom he was married for 53 years. R.I.P. FC |
