BS: Wales/England smoking

The banning of smoking in pubs in Wales and Scotland, but not England, has presumabbly created some deliberate cross border traffic, of smokers crossing to more liberal England and non-smokers going the other way. Can anybody in those regions confirm anecdotally or any other way that this is happening?

Drinking and driving is not allowed, so of course it doesn't happen. [does it ?]

Driving doesn't have to be involved. There plenty of pubs within yards of the boreders.
