Someone I know wants to get a tattoo around her wrist with three words - Joy, Truth, Love - in Irish Gaelic.

I have been looking up online dictionaries, but I would like suggestions from Gaelic speakers, because I realise there are probably several words with subtle differences in meaning.

In this context, the meaning would be those three things as universal values I suppose. Any suggestions?

Áthas, Fírinne and Grá. Lúcháir is a nice alternative for the first one.

Regards

Thanks Martin. I had heard of the first three. Lúcháir I hadn't come across. I looked it up, and it does seem like a rather nice possible alternative.

I want to be pretty sure before I tell her, because tattoos are something you can't undo all that easily.
