I bet this link dissapears soon.

Perhaps I should not mention his name either.
This man is a threat to the military industrial complex and the new world order.

The funny thing is that no TV news organization will even mention his name INCLUDING The Daily Show who only called him Mr. Pickles.

Even The Democrate Graven was mnetioned after the Democratic debate,
if you hear Mr. Pickles answers you get a clue why big media will make sure he will remain "he whose name will not be mentioned"

NObody won IMO. Having Chris Matthews serve as moderator at a so-called Republican debate (which it wasn't) is like having Rush Limbaugh officiate at a Democratic debate.

Interesting, DougR. Seriously. Do you know who chose him as the moderator?

What kinds of questions did Matthews ask? Were they overtly partisan?

I couldn't watch either the Democratic or Republican debates this year. They were not televised on basic cable. I did get to watch some exerpts of them.

Couldn't watch the debates, but I was heartened to see the local newsrag offering the opinion that Brownback "couldn't even place second in the third tier of candidates."

Now if we had two intelligent editors I'd be even more reassured.

That is a screenshot of the poll I think you mentioned at the beginning. Dr. Ron Paul of Texas won an overwhelming victory in this poll and all other polls conducted after the debate. The mainstream media has buried this news and is still refusing to mention Paul when reporting at the "contenders" Romney, McCain and Giuliani. Romney received 9% of the online vote, McCain 4%, Giuliani 6%. This poll leaves cookies on your computer, too, so there was no repeat-voting. Ron Paul received an honest 69% in a field of 8 debaters.

Of the 8 in the debate, Ron Paul was the only one who is against the war Iraq. He also said that on his first day in office he would abolish the Federal Reserve--that blood-sucking group of private banks that uses the I.R.S. to force you to pay extortion money.

The media is trying desperately to downplay the success this man had in the debate. Several other polls had similar results.

Anybody here not know how to crumble cookies?

Well, sure, cookies can be deleted, but it's a headache, and these are brief polls. Besides, if the poll voting numbers were fudged by Paul, why not by Romney, Giuliani and the others? Would that mean the others really only got 1% or 2%?

Ron Paul won in more than one set of polls. The figures show him to have come out the winner with positive votes at least twice his the next highest person in the debates. Google

ron paul

then click News. It will take you to many of them.

They are all a bunch of losers. All republicans are losers. They have lost touch with their higher, inner selves. That is what makes them Republicans and losers.

Strictly IMHO of course.

I thought Tom Tancredo won when he finally raised his hand to indicate that he didn't believe in evolution.

Anti-war candidate Ron Paul won the SECOND Republican debate last night. The MSNBC poll referred to in this article was phone-in only (no internet, because Paul won the first debate and they attributed the victory to internet voting), so in this debate it was phone calls that made him the winner. And MSNBC shut down the poll after only 3 hours because the numbers weren't going in favor of the pre-selected candidates.

Ron Paul seems to be a TRUE populist candidate, not a Ross Perot or Ralph Nader who is part of the plan to shift votes around in order to provide a believable win for one of the two-party candidates. Paul is speaking out against the war and taxes and torture, and HIS OWN PARTY is trying to get rid of him.

Impossible.

MSNBC only showed Ron Paul being raked over the coals for his remarks while Tancredo insisted that Ron Paul apologize to America.

I wish I were able to tune in to the various debates. That YouTube excerpt, however, shows Paul in, to me, a very favorable light.

Ron Paul articulated eloquently and accurately what has needed to be said about American interventionist foreign policy in the Middle East. His remarks about who was (in part) responsible for the 9/11 attack and the conclusions of the CIA in the 9/11 Commission Report seem sound. And generally speaking, his comments regarding the idea that patriotism and agreeing with every presidential decision are not necessarily mutually inclusive is spot on.

These and other remarks on topics such as Osama bin Laden, nuclear weapons in Pakistan, and Iran are touched upon in his interview (youtube video clip about 6 minutes long) with Wolf Blitzer last night (May 16) on "The Situation Room," and are left to the judgement of the reader.

He is getting lots of contributions now!

He might be the only Republican candidate that could seduce many Democrats.

REPUBLICAN INSIDERS PANIC, MOVE TO BAN FRONTRUNNER RON PAUL FROM DEBATES

Ron Paul once again roiled Republican presidential politics on the issue of foreign policy during last night's debate, finishing second in the post-debate poll conducted by Fox News and first in the poll conducted by MSNBC.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/hornberger/hornberger128.html

Michigan GOP chair Saul Azunis is circulating a petition to bar Ron Paul from future GOP debates. Azunis said on his blog that he's been "approached by many RNC members who offered to sign" the petition and explained his view on Paul:

"I have long respected Congressman Paul's principle position on many issues, regardless if I ever agreed with any specific proposals or conclusions he had come to. However, his statement on why the terrorists attacked America is so out of the mainstream geo-political thought in the west and is increasingly becoming a distraction versus a supplement to the debate, I think we should just come out and say so."

"Congressman Ron Paul does not represent the majority of the Republican Party on foreign policy and his participation in the debate is little more than a distraction."

http://time-blog.com/real_clear_politics/2007/05/petition_to_ban_paul_from_deba.html

MR. WALLACE: Now you say we should pull our troops out. A recent poll found that 77 percent of Republicans disapprove of the idea of setting a timetable for withdrawal. Are you running for the nomination of the wrong party? (Scattered laughter.)

REP. PAUL: But you have to realize that the base of the Republican Party shrunk last year because of the war issue. So that percentage represents less people. If you look at 65 to 70 percent of the American people, they want us out of there. They want the war over.

Any effort to shut Paul up should be immensely counterproductive. If the GOP doesn't want to hear any such 'subversive' thinking there is something profoundly wrong with them.

Ron Paul is the Republican frontrunner according to polls, yet his own party is trying to deny him his rightful place in the debates. They are also trying to deny him his First Amendment right to freedom of speech. Today I sent the following email to both the Republican National Committee and to the Republican organization GOPAC.

"If Ron Paul is not allowed to continue in the debates, I will actively campaign against all Republican candidates."

Tomorrow I will phone both organizations and reiterate this message.

GOPAC    info@gopac.org    (202) 464-5170

RNC    info@gop.com    (202) 863-8500
