Missing Specs????

The pub has a pair of specs left in the back garden. If you were there and have lost your specs, let me or Val or the pub know....

Hey ma,

We'll be there on Tuesday for you to shed just the one discrete tear (yeh, alright). I know Pete and you were perfectly matched (I think the pair of you are unique) and he will be sorely missed. I have a few photographs of some crazy morris-type people from Rushbearing....

I don't think I will be singing with my voice, but there will be a fair bit of dancing, should you so desire and have a big hug and a hanky ready for you.

Thinking of you, Tamsin and Charlotte.

See you all in Upper Stoke- it is not big enough to get lost in!

Di

Sending you lots of love and hope to get to the Church in time.. Will leave Chippenham early on Tuesday morning but have to drop off caravan & who knows with traffic 'n'all.
Having made a bell gaff in the Cathedral on Pete's behalf already - is it Kit with bells or do we have to silence them in the church.... can't imagine it really !
Come to think of it - can't imagine we'll all get in the church anyway.
If the traffic defeats us we'll be thinking of you and there a.s.a.p. after.
Lots of love
xxxx Lisa & Rob xxxx

Hi Val.

People keep asking me (I think I've been asked four times now) what time is it likely to get back to the pub? It's not that people don't want to go Godly, or to the crem, but people are worried about if they can get the afternoon off and whether it will be OK to come when they can...

I have been telling them to come when they can, but I'm not sure they believe me.

Although I did not know Pete, I thought maybe I could be useful by pproviding some links:

Anthony Nolan Trust - main page
Taking back lives from leukaemia - The Anthony Nolan Trust is an independent charity that actually makes a lifesaving difference. Last year, we helped save the lives of over 500 men, women and children with leukaemia.

How You Can Help page for Anthony Nolan Trust
Describes numerous ways to help them with their mission

Their DONATE NOW page for making direct donations
As an independent charity, we continually rely on financial support from individuals and companies. You can help us to take back more lives from leukaemia right now by making a one-off donation
(You can also send them donations by post. if you do so, you might want to mention you are making the donation is memory of Pete)

Val - I'm sending my love and prayers from California.
