Subject: RE: Chord Req: The Long Long Trail From: leeneia Date: 03 Jan 17 - 01:50 PM The chord request was made in 2007. Joe Offer gave an answer, but apparently the OP never came back for it. The Lester Levy site has the complete song, but sad to say, it's in the inconvenient key of A flat (four flats.) |

Subject: RE: Chord Req: The Long Long Trail From: Joe Offer Date: 01 Jun 07 - 03:24 PM Aw, Don, I think you're old enough to remember that one.... Here are the chords from the Rise Up Singing songbook: G - / C G / C G / A D / " / C B7 / " / AD G The slashes separate lines. The dash means "same as previous measure." The quote marks mean "same as above" - but I don't know if that means same as the previous line, or same as what's directly above. I think this song is meant to be sung a cappella, whilst holding and quaffing liquid refreshment. This precludes the holding or playing of a guitar or other instrument. -Joe Offer- |
