Subject: Ghost of Mary Hay (Hey?) From: GUEST,jug Date: 29 Jun 07 - 08:34 AM I have recently un-earthed an old reel to reel recording of this song (+ many others); I don't know who it is by, the story behind the song or the writer / history. What I do know is that it was probably a recording obtained from John Leonard in his Radio Sheffield days.(So the memory is somewhat hazy). It has the feel of part of a greater work. Does anyone know anymore? All searches I have made have produced nothing & I have not suceeded in contacting John direct. It is a 'production' job & has multi instruments on the recording (including pipes) If the work is available; can it be obtained? Thanks m |
