Here is an interesting article on a forbidding subject.

"Chipping, these critics said, might start with Alzheimer's patients or Army Rangers, but would eventually be suggested for convicts, then parolees, then sex offenders, then illegal aliens — until one day, a majority of Americans, falling into one category or another, would find themselves electronically tagged."

And if you get yourself 'chipped' eventually in the head or the hand..as per the Biblical 'Mark of the Beast' which is mentioned in the text.........what then?. There will be no more credit cards or methods of 'payment' for anything...no driving licences, passports etc but it will be the thing you are 'controlled' by as predicted.
