I'm Glad that the Banks or Loansharks in offices and suits are being taken to court, and I just hope and pray that they get hammered because they have being hammering us with their stupid banks charges, I was overdrawn by £1 and the bank kept charging me £25 every month even when I got rid of the overdraft, the bank was the A & L.

I don't care what anyone says they are Just Loan Sharks in Suits.

the only difference is that a Loan shrak will do some physical Damage to you the banks do other types of Damge to you.

in one Banks are BASTARDS
tom

It would help if the information they sent out was more user friendly.

If you pay anything to do with gambling, eg. the pools, on your credit card you get charged interest. This seems to go on month after month even if you pay the whole lot off because .............. well, it wasn't entirely clear but I think I've now grasped it!

Apparently, we did all get this information but clearly I didn't understand it!

Banks are horrid, very badly behaved. When was the last time you saw an assistant at every window. never at the busy times - you can guarantee that.

Even worse are the so called computer banks like the co op. Their charges for sending an overdraft exceeded letter are excessive considering they have no offices to keep running - apart from that weird looking building in manchester.

I'm convinced they flog your contact details to other companies, they always try and hustle for business - when you are very busy with something else. They bugger about taking ages over simple transactions so that you incurr charges.

absolute buggers, the lot of them!

I feel like the odd one out so far.....my bank only ever were going to charge me £36 when I paid a cheque for something at £220 and they said I had insufficient funds to cover it. I had paid a cheque for £10,000 in four days before which should have covered it...when I told them this they dropped the charge. I have never had any other problem with them....
Best wishes, Mike.

The Co-op have been O.K. with me for the last 30 years! They have kept my local branch (Swinton) open ....... with the right number of tillers available! However they are still a bank so why be surprised when they charge youfor being overdrawn? Anyone else have a problem with internet banking ..... other than getting cash?
