Subject: RE: BS: Is life so really sweet in Canada ? From: Metchosin Date: 09 Aug 07 - 07:31 PM Too cold for you? Well you could always move out to the west coast, like too many retirees from the hinterland of the rest of Canada, to someplace like Victoria. The temperature there rarely dips below freezing during the winter, let alone in the middle of summer. |
Subject: RE: BS: Is life so really sweet in Canada ? From: Peace Date: 09 Aug 07 - 07:32 PM Hey, Metchosin. Like, you have climate. We have weather. |
Subject: RE: BS: Is life so really sweet in Canada ? From: Metchosin Date: 09 Aug 07 - 07:36 PM I have a friend who moved here from Cape Breton. She always refered to the Island here as Cookie Island, so I guess for some, depending on where you are coming from, it could be considered pretty sweet. |
Subject: RE: BS: Is life so really sweet in Canada ? From: Metchosin Date: 09 Aug 07 - 07:47 PM Ah... we have weather too Peace, but it comes in the form of hurricane force winds and rain cut on the bias and large trees falling on your house. LOL |

From: Metchosin Date: 09 Aug 07 - 08:13 PM And when I mention large trees, I mean really big trees, not the little pencils and peckerwood that the rest of you guys call forests. Of course they do contribute to another season we have on this coast, which lasts from the end of October until the end of April. Its called Gloom.BG |
