Subject: BS: Pop; Pop; Pop; Pop From: GUEST,Sapper on the Flying Banana (NMT) Date: 01 Oct 07 - 02:43 PM Half-Pint, the female of the family pair of guinea pigs popped four times this morning. Four little furry bundles running around and Athur, the male of the pair, looing VERY bemused with a "Nuffin' to do wiv me Guv," look on his face! |

Subject: RE: BS: Pop; Pop; Pop; Pop From: open mike Date: 01 Oct 07 - 09:20 PM http://guineapigs.info/ also known as cavies this site is quite opinionated.. http://www.cavyspirit.com/ they rescue pets... and suggest you not support pet stores that sell animals (but if pet stores don't sell pets, they would have to change their names!) |
Subject: RE: BS: Pop; Pop; Pop; Pop From: Stilly River Sage Date: 01 Oct 07 - 11:58 PM I saw the strangest thing this morning on my way home from dropping my son at the school bus. At a corner a few blocks from my house there was a cat with about a dozen kittens. They were at the curb, and as I drove nearer the cat ran down the drive and toward a gardening shed and the kittens all surged after her. A herd of cats, and they looked just like ducklings following their mother. I've never seen one cat with so many kittens. I can only guess that they aren't all hers. SRS |

Subject: RE: BS: Pop; Pop; Pop; Pop From: Grab Date: 02 Oct 07 - 06:17 AM Friends of mine went over there this year. They say they're sold grilled or roasted, and kind of spreadeagled like roadkill. They noticed a large flat rock in each kitchen they went into - the working hypothesis is that it's a Guinea Pig Stone, specially flattened and weighted to get just the right squish for cooking them. ;-) Graham. |
