A friend of mine is looking for this old song and she is not even sure of the title or artist, but she thinks it might be by June Stearns. It is about a father telling his wife to watch what she does because her daughter want to be just like her. Thanks and all help appreciated Louie Roy

Peace thanks for keeping this thread alive.I've tried changing the title to various titles that could fit the song without any sucess, but sometimes it just takes a word or two or maybe a different artist and you are off and running again.Several years ago I was looking for a song that I heard back in the 40s and I did have the title but no one I guess but me had heard it but Jim Dixon in one of his search engines came up with the artist who sang this in 1942.To make a long story short with this info and several years latter I found a web page with this song on it.with all the knowledgable people on mudcat I still believe someone will come up with the link for sucess

Maybe someone like Kitty Wells?
'she wants to be like you' seems like a similar type to "You're Judged by the Company You Keep"..which was a big sister giving her little sister a Talk.

If it was June Stearns there seem to be only two LPs mentioned anywhere on the net - see here
