A mature lady at JPThornton's (AKA TJHooker's) demanded to see proof of age before letting me purchase a bottle of wine.
I laughed. She sais she was serious. I blurted "I'm 60 foe god's sake!) She still insisted.

Seems the police are cracking down on underage drinking so they are carding anyone who might be under age and



might be an undercover cop or a "plant".

Oh My Goodness! I came home from work on Friday to a note from a local florist about flowers. Had to have them deliverewd to Jacqui's on Saturday because I was off at the museum.
Carols and Andrew - they are beautiful! What a wonderful surprise! All yellows, golds and reds for fall (a little like Luigi).
The bouquet is in my bedroom where I can enjoy it without fear of feline intervention.
