I got 90. Although the words to the song just give me three grains of corn mother are going through my head..it is a bit odd but whatever helps the starving..mg

It helps to have read a lot of Victorian authors! Though I'd say a knowledge of Scottish and English song would be a big advantage too.

I gave up after 600 grains

The site seems to use slightly archaic British English, filtered by an American.

I could have done with some context for the requested words (but that's me).

jacqui-You are right on that count-a couple I'd never heard before-but reasoned it out. I did learn that I was wrong about discommode. I've always used that when I knock someone off a toilet. You live & learn.
