Raptor is right. We don't always work hard enough to stop someone who is close to us from killing themselves, especially when that person has spoken of suicide in our presence.
But it is also apparent that Ledger's death was an unfortunate accident likely brought on by careless and frequent use of prescription drugs, and not an intentional suicide. Let us mourn him and take from this what lessons we may.
