This woman sings and calls dances.
I believe she went to Russia as a
caller on a "Dance for Peace " tour
a decade or so ago. (does anyone
know if this is the case?) She had
a song entered into a contest for
songs about Yellowstone and Tetons.

I recall years (30-40) a singing
group from Pennsylvania-the
(someone) Penn. Singers.

There was a songbook on the
piano of their music in my
childhood home. Does anyone
know the name of that person
and the relationship (if any)
with Connie?

I believe Connie has been
discussed here before, but
I heard her again sing with
Skip Gorman and became
re-acquainted with her.

Connie Dover is a wonderful singer and a gorgeous woman. I had the pleasure of leading some singarounds with her at Zoukfest 2005. Check out her website: conniedover.com.

Must be a different lady with the same name. The woman singing on the westernfolklife site is definitely not the Connie Dover I know, whose website doesn't mention anything about being a caller, or about a trip to Russia. Sorry about the mix-up.

Connie the singer, late of Scartaglen, is one of my favorite singers. Her "If Ever I Return" CD is a work of art.
