Subject: Lyr Req: Words to a possible Jordie song. From: GUEST,Stuie Date: 05 Feb 08 - 03:34 AM Hi, I'm looking for the words to a song which is possibly a Jordie one. I think part of the chorus is something like - "oh little laddie, my bonny laddie ?????? if you were still on the tyne, you'd be all mine, but now you're far over the sea". Any help would be appreciated. Stuie. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: from stuie - oh little laddie From: Mick Pearce (MCP) Date: 05 Feb 08 - 09:55 AM You can find the song (words and music) here on Conrad Bladey's Beuk O' Newcassel Sangs: Robson's Sandgate Lasses Lament. I thought I had a version of this at home somewhere, because I'm sure someone I know sings it (Barry and Ingrid Temple maybe?), but I couldn't find a copy at a quick look. Mick |
