Subject: BS: Voices of Conscience (book discussion) From: CarolC Date: 26 Feb 08 - 08:05 PM An excellent discussion with Ann Wright and Daniel Ellsberg about the book written by Ann and her co-author, Susan Dixon, about government whistleblowers. I was particularly interested in what Daniel was saying about Sybel Edmonds. I had heard some things about her before, but what was said in this discussion helps me to understand better the geostrategical reasons for the US government's position on recognizing an independent Kosovo. An interesting, alarming, and I guess also encouraging discussion. I say encouraging, because it is encouraging to me, at least, to know that there are many people of conscience within the government who are willing to put their own material and physical wellbeing on the line in order to do their duty in upholding the US Constitution. http://fora.tv/2008/01/21/Dissent_Voices_of_Conscience |
