Subject: RE: BS: It's snowing! (Again) From: Cats Date: 06 Apr 08 - 05:58 AM Saw three or four flakes drift past the window this morning, but bright blue clear skies here on Bodmin Moor. No snow. |

Subject: RE: BS: It's snowing! (Again) From: Emma B Date: 06 Apr 08 - 04:37 AM Woke up to a beautiful blue sky and the early morning sun already beginning to melt the snow which overnight had mimiced the thick white blossom of my poor fruit trees. |
Subject: RE: BS: It's snowing! (Again) From: Nigel Paterson Date: 06 Apr 08 - 04:27 AM 4 or 5cm here in East London, but now melting as it settles. |
Subject: RE: BS: It's snowing! (Again) From: alanabit Date: 06 Apr 08 - 04:22 AM That's right John. I think it's really disgusting that in this day and age someone can get away with casually referring to "a snowman". For goodness sake, these days it's a "snowperson"... |

Subject: RE: BS: It's snowing! (Again) From: Liz the Squeak Date: 06 Apr 08 - 03:39 AM It's snowing proper snow in London too!! A frosty welcome for the Olympic torch that's supposed to be passing through the borough today... even frostier than the welcome I'd give it, if I could be bothered! We have about an inch so far, with big, fat, fluffy flakes and no sign of it stopping! It'll be the first time Limpit has been able to make a snowman since she was 6, although, because our garden is sheltered by tall shrubs and trees, it'll have to be a very small snowman. LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: It's snowing! (Again) From: Roger the Skiffler Date: 06 Apr 08 - 03:19 AM 2" in Ascot: a rare event these days, AND it would be today we're travelling a bit further North to take Ma-in-Law to lunch! RtS |
Subject: BS: It's snowing! (Again) From: Phot Date: 06 Apr 08 - 02:47 AM After being pestered by the cats for food this morning, I noticed that it was a bit light for seven in the morning, so I pulled back the curtain and took a look............There's an inch of snow on the deck!! And its still coming down like no ones buisness. Does anyone else seem to be having this weather? On the plus side, I can go and make a snowman for the first time in twenty odd years, and I can take the Landrover out for a play too!! Wassail!!! Chris |
