Marianne Taylor is a dance teacher, leader, musician, and folk icon of New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. She has recently been diagnosed with a very serious sarcoma (cancer) originating in her leg. She is now in Dana Farber for treatment. All of her friends should pray or otherwise send good vibes, but should NOT e-mail her, or her partner Don, rather, if you are close, you will know her address and send snail-mail. This news broke during Neffa.

Blessings to Marianne; she taught me several wonderful dances while I performed in the Cambridge Revels. There was a card at NEFFA which I signed, and so did many, many others. She's a remarkable woman!

Latest news is that Marianne has had several surgeries, and is now in a rehab facility. After 2-3 weeks of healing, she will get radiation. The CaringBridge web site will show you over 1000 entries in her guest book, but may disappear soon now that she has moved.
