I sing the "he'll be asking your ankle to dance" version..hadn't seen the verse about the Queen or tickling his sides.

I don't know if the Geezenslaw Brothers were ever more than a local act around Minnesota. I heard them do a song with the same title and premise over 50 years ago. About all I remember is, "Don't pet the dog, he might fall in love with your leg", which I think was the first line of the chorus.
