If you happen to be a trend better and your looking for that little extra edge when placing your bet on who will win the Stanley Cup, either Detroit or Pittsburgh, consider this; In 115 years, 114 Canadian born Captains, one Russian born, but raised in Canada, playing way back in the 1930's(effectively making him a a Canadian).

So, all that being said, just give Sid the Cup!!!!!!

But, if it happens to be the Wings that breaks the trend, I couldn't think of a more deserving player than future Hall of Famer Nick Lidstom!!!!!
