I dunno where to put this, but for anyone who enjoys the song, here is the old NFB animation of the song The Cat Came Back.

Lots of other neat animations there as well, including, under Canadian Vignettes, Wade Hamilton's 'Log Driver's Waltz'.

Truly really? If so, I'm awestruck, and also struck by coincidence. I had a sudden impulse last evening to go look for NFB animations, in particular the Cat, found the Cat, then enjoyed LDW, a song I learned last year directly as a result of having loved the animation so much. Came here today to post it, but cruised the new posts first and found John's, which is priceless and wonderful. Certainly never connected the two. What a talent!

I haven't even had time to look through that NFB list to see if some of my other favourites might be there, like 'Alouette', 'Fire', and 'Sandman' (last two may be wrong titles).

He had a hand in the Cat one, too, according to the credits and I think he mentioned it somewhere. The LDW remains my all-time fav!
