Becca, A&W root beer isn't technically a Coca Cola product. It's actually made by the same company that makes Dr. Pepper and 7-Up. It's distributed by Coca Cola bottlers in some areas, but not all. Where I live, Coca Cola distributes Barq's root beer while A&W is distributed by Royal Crown Cola.
