From: GUEST,Satori Sempai Date: 25 Jul 08 - 02:36 PM A good friend from the 75th Ranger Batallion passed away not so long ago and he had this song from the Airborne Rangers... it was something abotu an airborne ranger that died and about mother father etc. that shouldn't cry....God I wish I had more info for you guys, but I would apprechiate it if anyone woudl have any feedback! Thank you!!! |

There's also the marching "song" that begins "Airborne, Airborne, have you heard?", and it has a stanza that goes like this: If I die on the ol' drop zone, Box me up and ship me home. Bury me in the leanin' rest, Tell my folks I did my best. That isn't very close to what you are describing - probably someone else can do better. |
