I heard on the news this AM that a new Virus was making the rounds and I just caught the tail end of the report.Does anyone have any info on this or is it another hoax? If anyone does please post the details Thanks

dont know if it the same one but my son says I have a trojan (?)and we have been trying to get rid of it for 2 days. He is an hour and a half away so has been talking me through the procedure on the telephone, I am a beauty therapist not a computer buff. However the salons computer runs everything, client records, opens till, makes appointments.Help!!

A trojan on its own won't wipe things. It will let others get data from your computer and use your computer (eg) to send spam and mount denial of service attacks.

Richard, I dont know what it is but everything has slowed down to snail speed and I have lost my desk top?
