Yeah. WELL, taking a shot of a guy crappin' in the woods isn't really sporting now, IS it!

I took about 3 times as many photos, but they're somewhat repetitive, bad, or in one case, I received a threat of bodily harm.

John MacKenzie is wearing a strange hat in that shot. imo, and NO offense to John. It's a nice hat, and I'm sure if he told folks where he got it from it would start a rage.

Bruce, maybe photos can go in that too?

Here are some of mine.
I went to a lot of trouble shrinking these, and then Picasa does it anyway. If anybody wants one of these in full size in their 4752 x 3167 pixel megabytes of glory, I can do that.

that's okay B..... I have a dvd of my set and it's going in a time capsule under a concrete slab next to Jimmy Hoffa...
I was set up to record from the sound board but John C.,the sound man forgot to push the button, while Quentin's lady, Lise, filmed it with a hand-held... those built in mics can be 'thin' at the best of times... everytime the wind blew thru the tent the bottom end would just drop out... I look fwd. to hearing the workshop which was recorded from the console... makes a huge difference.... techno bugs aside, at least nothing caught fire and was a super time overall... I was bigtime glad to be a part of it... tho my fingernails are still recovering...

Great pictures. Nice to put some names and faces together.
Put Big Mick Lane next to big John MacKenzie and it starts to look like Rick and the Beef Brothers. You had to be there.

To get back to to the main theme of this thread.....what about the guitar wizardry of Ron Bankley that was on display Friday night and Saturday? His back-up of both Murdoch and Dunn was incredible and his solo set on the main stage on Saturday was marvelous. Ron, you were terrific!!

I wanted people to know I wasn't dead or anything, but I guess nobody noticed I was missing. Internet problem. (We didn't have access until a little while ago.)

I had a good time, and I have some photos to put up if I can get a Flickr page or something. (I might be interested in bribes to 'lose' some of 'em.

Yeah, but............from some of the comments posted by former students of yours on your YouTube site, you seem to have turned into a helluva teacher so, maybe she missed something. Or, saw something that she chose to let you discover on your own. I knew who Ms. Van Reet was but never had her.

Yep. He later became the guidance counsellor. It was Ms Van Reet who told me about JFK's death. I was writing an exam.

It was also Ms Van Reet who told me to go to NYC and be a folksinger, because I sure as hell would never be an academic. That woman had vision. I thought she was great.

Bruce.....do you remember Mr. Ironsides at Verdun High? Needless to say, with a moniker like that, he had many other less complimentary names like "tin ribs" and "brass balls". The reason I remember him so distinctly is one of those "where were you when" moments. I was in Grade 10 geometry with Ironsides on November 22, 1963 when news came in of John F. Kennedy's assassination. I was thinking of that last week while I was in Canada when word came of Walter Cronkite's death. As a young Canadian, I didn't know much about American network news in those days, but I remember being glued to my TV that Friday evening listening to Cronkite and the events of the assassination.

Sorry for the thread drift.........
