Subject: BS: John 'n Sarah Crybaby Show... From: Bobert Date: 12 Sep 08 - 08:41 PM Is it just me or have John McCain and Sarah Palin become the "Crybaby Ticket"??? I mean, let's get real here... Seems that their entire campaign is builr around balming Dems and the media for the slightest of slights and the non-ist of non-slights... Yeah, they have created all these awful things that either Obama or the media have done to them that never actaully happened... We have lipstick-on-a-pig-gate, we have sex-ed-for-kindergartners-gate, we have Obama-will-raise-your-taxes-gate, we have community-orgainizer-gate, we have Obama-the-Muslim-gate, we have, we have, we have... What we don't have from Ms, Sarah and her running mate, John, is one single policy position other than they are going to have some kind of victory in Iraq??? Wow, even General Patrais says that ain't gonna happen... So, the "Crybaby Express" keeps rolling on, day after day, hoping that they can cry themselves all the way to the White House??? Well, with as many folks all wrapped up in Oprah and Dr. Phil and self-help books maybe the John's economis advisor, Phil Gramm was half right... No, we have not become a country of whiners... We have become a country of crybabies... End of Bobert's rant... Yeah, I'm sure it would have fit inside another thread but, hey... B~ |

Subject: RE: BS: John 'n Sarah Crybaby Show... From: Amos Date: 12 Sep 08 - 10:25 PM The deft shtick is to complain and protest against the opposition, as though having no cause-point at all of one's own, and then assert one will change everything if elected...seems a bit contradictory, don't it? If the Pubicans are so all-fired savvy at management and experienced at executing, surely they could come up with a better strategy than whining. A |

Subject: RE: BS: John 'n Sarah Crybaby Show... From: Ebbie Date: 12 Sep 08 - 10:59 PM As has been said before, every day that they are able to fix our attention on the crybaby issues is a day that we can't expect an answer to addressing actual problems. On the other hand: Mark Shields, on Jim Lehrer's Newshour, said tonight that we may be seeing the high point of Palin right now. Of course, he is partisan, unashamedly so. |
