Well, here we are just weeks before Bush walks out the door & turns the Company over to a new CEO. Usually a package has already been prearranged but it seems with this turnover a new deall is in the works. So Oil has been fantastic, highest prices ever & profits are soring through the roof. Social Security didn't fall into the private sector but it sure is a mess & Insurance is doing quite well dispite the millions that can't get covered.
Now Georgie is walking & making a bee line to the banks, his bank or banks. Daddy's investing in the restructing industry & planning on making a killing. That's the new business on the emirging horizon, the Department of Finicial Reconstruction. The rebuilding of America & the American economy. Georgie gets to walk off with his package, off into the sunset while he leaves behing the worst Ship of State ever.

Donuel, where's the cartoon??????

He gets to go out like Shane on horse back, not a peep, not an impeachment, not one war crime, not one bullet to the brainless, not one fucking day in jail, say it ain't so!!!!!!!

So while the economy turns to shit right in front of our eyes, he's gonna do his best to see that his party keeps partying that way he'll disappear in peace, not need for a golden handshake or pardon, no need to say "don't leave town", not even a word about "what a fucking lousy job you did" & "what a mess you've made & let US with"

He will spend the rest of his life, collecting for the favours he arranged for his friends while he was in office.
He'll be on the board of Halliburton within months, and more sinecures will follow.
It will be just like serving in the Texas national Guard, he'll get the bucks, and dodge the duties.

Has anyone noticed how haggard he looks these days? He's probably lucky that his term is almost over because he doesn't look as though he'd last another year in this job.

When he started showing the strain - about 4 years ago, I think - it made me feel better that he is at least not completely clueless.

He's not going to get the bail out he wants. So far, Congress is revolting against him and Paulsen. It is refreshing to see!

Though, Barry, I agree...he should be held accountable NOW and not let to go without any consequences. I just got a DVD in the mail. It was free and can be had by request at Impeach Play dot com. You may also watch it online at that link. It's what so many of us would like to see happen.

I have been reading your comments and no one has mentioned his actual golden parachute. He created a $20,000,000 golden parachute for himself. It seems to me that we(Amercans) should try to stop him from getting it. It's just a drop in the bucket..it's the principle. It would feel good to have the last word. Any ideas?
