Subject: RE: BS: Opie, Andy, Cunningham & the Fonz From: Cluin Date: 24 Oct 08 - 05:31 PM What? Does America STILL need Fonzie and Sheriff Taylor to tell them what to do? |

Subject: RE: BS: Opie, Andy, Cunningham & the Fonz From: topical tom Date: 24 Oct 08 - 05:41 PM No, the people are free to do as they wish. America doesn't NEED them but they sure make it more interesting, as Colin Powell did. |

Matlock is a sex symbol in his age group. Speakin a sex symbols, that there Ron Howard looks damn near like me ten years ago... with his shirt on... never thought he was that skinny. Kinda girly like. But his head is screwed on tight, and that's what matters... fer votin anyway. |

Subject: RE: BS: Opie, Andy, Cunningham & the Fonz From: GUEST,Arkie Date: 01 Nov 08 - 03:52 PM I did not find the spiel sad at all. I actually thought it refreshing. It expresses an honest concern for the state of affairs in the USA, a sincere love of the country, and was done without any malice or intent at deception. I cannot imagine how anyone can deny that this country has serious problems. That these problems are primarily the result of failed policies and poor decisions of those currently in power is obvious to anyone with any sense of objectivity. Even John McCain acknowledges that much through his campaign for change though he has offered no noticeable program of change. What I do find sad is that seemingly honest, caring people allow someone else to think for them. I find it also a sad state of affairs that honest, caring people who supported the change in the Republican party have not demanded accounting from the people they put in office and have actually apparently placed their stamp of approval on those who cater only to limited special interests. Kat, thanks for posting information on the video. |
