Since it is Veteran's Day today in the U.S., I've listed a jacket that came from my mother's estate. The last trip she made was in 1997 to the opening of the Women in Military Service for America Memorial in Washington, D.C. The jacket was barely worn, if at all. She bought several souvenir items there, and the jacket may have been part of a system for layering. I have a couple of other items from the memorial, if there is interest in this. The commemorate the grand opening and are, of course, collectible! :)

I'll pay shipping to the U.S. or Canada. Depending on how much it is to the U.K. or elsewhere, a couple of bucks negotiated toward that might be appreciated, unless Jacqui or someone is making a trip again one of these days. . . but we'll work it out.

I know there was a little interest when I mentioned this and other war memorial items in a thread last summer. Doesn't someone have a WAC or a WAV or other woman in their life who served in the military "way back when" or more recently who would enjoy a memento and at the same time a useful garment from the grand opening of that women's war memorial?

I wish I did, Maggie. It's a nice jacket. The only one I know of is 95 years old and a skinny little thing! She ferried airplanes across the nation during WWII.
