Ms Andersson moved from Denmark to New Orleans years ago along with one Anders Osborne. The two of them were an "item" and were bandmates for quite a while, but eventually broke up both personally and professionally.

Since then, going their separate ways, they've both continued to be pretty successful. Anders has a Nashville songwriting career in addition to fronting his own band, and still spends most of his time in New Orleans. Theresa might be a somewhat bigger "draw" hereabouts than Anders as a live act these days; both do pretty well for themselves.

Theresa's latest album was recorded in Denmark and is a stylistic departure, kind of a ambient "new Age" sound instead of her well-established guitar-and-fiddle roots-rock approach. She definitely has a European audience; I'm not sure whether Anders does.
