Reminds me of a Thelwell cartoon. There were these guys in a helicopter looking down on similar crowds.

One says to the other "Can't you just feel them crawling all over you?"

I've been in crowds similar to the first photo at rock festivals back in the '60s and '70s.

I've driven in traffic like the second photo.

But I'd cut my throat before I'd go to a beach as crowded as the third photo. If I feel that much of a need to get wet, I'll just piss in my pants and pretend it's warm ocean water.

Where on earth was the second photo taken? It's got 19 lanes including the feeder! Is that a freeway in the US? If so, what state? None of the UK motorways are that wide (are they?? - it's been awhile). Looks like they're driving on the right, but it's hard to tell. Both directions, too. WHERE are they all going? [Metaphor for the times...]
