Excellent - I can make that date. I'll email John and let him know.

Thanks,

Will

Hi Alan - when's the Charlwood singaround held? It's not a million miles away from me. I was touching base again with John recently, and we still keep in touch from time to time. Wouldn't mind a jam with the old boy again!

I see John regularly at the Charlwood sing around ,I will pass on your regards. This song was a favourite of Noel Edmonds and got many plays over Xmas.John still performs in pubs etc and has not changed a bit for all the years I have known him.

Many years ago, in Brighton, there was a guitarist and entertainer who had quite a following - some of you may remember him. His name was Wounded John Scott Cree, and we used to jam together occasionally. John was (and is still) a superb entertainer and, in 1977, persuaded Pye Records to cut his blues version of "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer".

I'm glad to say that John has been able to put this up on YouTube, together with some ancient footage of him being silly, and you can catch it at: Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer. Great stuff - enjoy!
