Glad it was such a success Paul - a few names to look out for there - Zoox sound particularly interesting and of course looking forward to seeing One Stone at Raggalds Acoustic on 20 March. At least the party I went to had real ale so that was some compensation for missing the weekend.

I'm hoping we have a similar late turn out for Queensbury on 7/8 March as our own ticket sales have been remarkably slow given the superb line up and bargain prices.

Glad Friday night went well for yourselves and Brother Crow and that your party on Saturday had decent Ale!

We'll try and make Queensbury on the Sunday...... we have a booking on the Saturday so won't make that (and we're out on Friday night, so I can't promise). I'll see what else we can help with re publicity for it as well.

and yes, you should book Zoox for something, they're really special.

There's not much folky on on Sunday but you would be most welcome of course - Mat Walklate is the only folk act planned that day at 2pm.

Thanks for the review, Paul and pleased it was all a great success.

We also had Sarah McQuaid (at Twick last night) and would like to echo your comments and give her an unreserved thumbs-up. She would grace many a folk club (and probably will once the word gets round). A captivating performance, great songs, playing and singing. She was also totally professional, charming and low maintainance. What more could you ask for?

Zoox are up at Croxdale Folk Club, nr. Durham on Tuesday night if anyone wants to see them...that's next Tuesday, the 3rd March.

Just winding down from a hard night of pre festival activities with a bottle of Westons Bottle Fermented Cider and Zoox MySpace. You are right, Paul, they sound very special indeed - hope they come up this way soon again - will try to catch them at the Topic on 5 March but there will probably be some last minute crisis to attend to!

Isn't the internet great sometimes?!

I just want to retire so I can spend all my time finding and supporting new music! A few years left yet though!
