Subject: BS: Got Katrina fatigue? I hope not... From: PoppaGator Date: 18 Dec 08 - 09:58 AM It just keeps getting curiouser and curiouser. Check out this YouTube posting of the lead story on Tuesday evening's newscast from WWL-TX (CBS affiiate) in New Orleans. It seems that government employees, while at work on the public payroll at the Corps of Engineers, are writing comments on internet blogs in efforts to discredit citizen critics. Subject: RE: BS: Got Katrina fatigue? I hope not... From: VirginiaTam Date: 19 Dec 08 - 07:30 AM This kind of thing makes the US global street cred fall further and further. I have seen several different shows (two documentaries and one humorously styled automobile series) in the UK that show how stunned the presenters are at the state of New Orleans years following Katrina. The English find it difficult to believe such poor response in the face of the floods could happen in a place like America. But that the devastation still exisits goes beyond the pale. This thing with the ACOE just another nail in the coffin. |

But seriously, I have long thought that our very own Teribus is a paid plant right here in our own little corner of paradise.... And I'm serious about that... B~ |
