Subject: Hillary Clinton, Sec'y State? From: John on the Sunset Coast Date: 11 Feb 09 - 12:48 PM Normally I don't pay attention to columns or interviews by Dick Morris. I find he speaks and and writes as the political winds blow. But this one I find cogent. Hillary's incredible, shrinking role By Dick Morris Posted: 02/09/09 06:23 PM [ET] Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is finding that her job description is dissolving under her feet, leaving her with only a vestige of the power she must have thought she acquired when she signed on to be President Obama's chief Cabinet officer. The entire article is at: http://thehill.com/dick-morris/hillarys-incredible-shrinking-role-2009-02-09.html I wonder if Ms Clinton can request "a do-over"? I fixed the BS, and the link. Mick |

From: katlaughing Date: 11 Feb 09 - 02:28 PM What an incredible and wonderful array of people there are helping her with repairing our diplomacy with the world. With what has been lost, I'd say there is plenty there for all of them to work on and no one person could do it all. Much better to have cooperative like-minded than to try to go it alone with no support to show. |

Subject: RE: Hillary Clinton, Sec'y State? From: Riginslinger Date: 11 Feb 09 - 05:11 PM Well, if Obama doesn't get things straightened out with the others, my guess is Hillary will resign sometime in late 2010 and challange him for the nomination. Teddy Kennedy did it to Jimmy Carter. |
