Anybody out there remember an old radio show called "Stanford Van Crump, Public Eye"?? It was a comedy-detective show, early fifties & one of my favourites.

The chief used to tell long-suffering Stanford: "You're not a cop, you're a slop, with flat feet and a head to match!"

Anyone?

Already checked the net many times.

Stanford would say:

"My friends call me Stanky."
"Stinky???"
"No, Stanky!!"

High class humour!!

Another favourite was a sci-fi called "The Pobble from Pluto".

I have no idea of the origins, I was 6-8 yrs old. Geez, I'm just toooo damn old!
