Canadians reported a record number of UFO sightings last year. UFO researchers noted 1,004 reported sightings in 2008 — up more than 25 per cent from the previous year and the highest amount in the 20 years Ufology has been keeping track".

Last year, in her unsuccessful vice presidential bid, Sarah Palin (and her troop) is suspected of high flying back home (from the South) over parts of Canada. A coincidence?

Lately I've been pondering something, and looking around me with new vision.

There is general agreement that alien life forms in all likelihood would not have followed the same path as humans and it follows that we humans may not even recognize aliens as being, well, alien.

In other words, the aliens may already be among us- under our feet, in the air, in our water, in our trees, under our roofs, even under our skins. They may even be invisible to the naked eye of humans.

That being so, what creature would you nominate as being 'other-worldly'?

OK, I will have to own up. I had a few tokes for about four months twice a day and on many occasions I seemed to be looking far away at the Earth. I think some of my re-entries could have skewed that statistic.

I firmly believe that the Earth has already had a MAJOR UFO / Alien visitation.My theory is that Aliens (without Sigourney) landed on Earth millions of years ago,after escaping from their own doomed planet -----OK so far ?? Having used the dying throes of their own far-advanced but ultimately-flawed technology to get here from Planet Huuurrnfffurrrer ,they then searched frantically for a suitable biological "host" for their imperfect spiritual entities,only to opt,sadly,for the worst possible alternative, ie the seemingly innocuous ape-like creatures who eventually metamorphosed into the beer-swilling,football-crazed,unfaithfull, polygamous,war-mongering,banjo-playing,Mudcat-contributing,CRETINS that have overrun this once gentle rock near the Sun !!

Freon is expensive & in some places illegal, so if your old air-conditioning springs a leak, you've got a problem.   But (true fact), propane works just as well as freon, so you could refill it with that!

This may be considered serious thread-drift, but if you do try this, you have a very good chance of becoming a UFO!
