Listening to this fantastic Beeb unabridged audio production of LotR at the mo', Peter Jackson eat yer heart out!

Just wondering if anyone out there in Mudcat land has learned and sung any of Tolkiens songs from LotR?

No, but I have put tunes to some other of Tolkien's songs from Middle Earth and then found I couldn't get permission to record them. Which is annoying!

Donald Swann (He of Flanders and Swann) taught himself Elvish and recorded a Vinyl on Argo - One side was the Elvish , the other was settings of poems from Tom Bambadil , all tunes were Swann's !

Anyone that enjoys LOTR will probably get a good laugh from Martin Pearson's "Unfinished spelling errors of Bolkien" CD. A quick search hasn't turned up a link for it unfortunately.
