Mine is turquoise/acqua. Lovely.

I checked the price and availability of kiviut in Juneau. It is available, all right, but the price is $84 per ounce!

I've seen it and handled it only in a hood but it is marvelous stuff. Picture a cloud with a little substance stirred in.

I, too, have a Jacqui shawl...a beautiful deep green. And, an MMario one, too. I admit it, I feel completely spoiled.:-)

Mine's red and cuddly, and she also did lovely white blankets for both my little granddaughters. The latest is going to get used on Sunday for Freya's christening, I think...I hope!

Thank you for the kind words. I so enjoy the process of making the shawls and blankets and get a lot of selfish satisfaction when I think of the reaction when someone opens the package. That,in itself, is enough reward.

I read somewhere that crochet (and knitting) are as good for stress relief as yoga - if that is so I must be positively horizontal!

Anyway, if I kept everything I made we wouldn't be able to move for woolly stuff!

Mine is rich tones of blue, green and purple -- magnificent combination! (And my favorite colors.) Big enough that I can engulf myself and my huge smile (thinking of Jacqui) in it. I wore black with silver jewelry and wrapped my body in it to attend an operatic recital (featuring our up-the-hill neighbors' daughter with an amazing voice) and felt the most elegantly turned out person in the audience.

She also made me a smaller, more lace-like summer wrap.
