My first search for lyrics for my dad found me the DT at the Mudcat. My dad and I were impressed then and continued to be every time he asked me to find some more old lyrics. Me, I've always been awestruck and proud to be able to point folks to your wonderful creation and I've always taken comfort in knowing if I can't remember the name of one of the old tunes I grew up hearing dad and mom play, I can always call you and you'll tell me and sing it to boot! He was just saying that at 60 he started the Digital Tradition, at 70 he bought CAMSCO Music, and at 80 he got into republishing out of print folk books (special announcement very soon as to the first book now reavailable). Sorry this posting is so late in the day. I was on a business trip in Alabama and then took him out to dinner when I got home. |
